Solar Seed is a multi-stakeholder co-operative that develops community renewable energy projects, supports local engagement and helps organisations reduce energy costs through innovative funding models.

We welcome enquiries from homeowners, businesses, schools, charities, sports clubs, community organisations, volunteers, investors and potential partners.

Solar Seed funds, owns and maintains the renewable energy system while the building simply purchases the electricity generated at an agreed discounted rate. At the end of the agreement, ownership of the system is transferred to the building owner.

You can support Solar Seed by becoming a volunteer, joining our Local Energy Club, investing in community shares or introducing organisations that may benefit from our services.
